INTERNET SAFETY
Teaching students how to surf the internet safely is emphasized at all grade levels. This topic is addressed through class discussion and interactive websites designed to teach the Importance of safe surfing and chat room use. Please visit the link on the left to view the site we use in the classroom and to view rules for safe internet use at home for both you and your child.​
E-LEARNING FOR KIDS
E-Learning for kids is probably one of the best websites on the Internet for children to learn more about computers. This website covers everything from keyboard skills, safety on the Internet, and even using specific applications like Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint. The activities at E-Learning for Kids are well-made and professional. For example, the keyboarding skills activity even includes tasks that teach kids how to use the mouse, and how typical menu systems work in most computer programs.
There are a lot of learning modules for kids at E-Learning For Kids, such as health, lifeskills,math and english, but the computer learning area is easily one of the better sites on the Internet for kids to learn about computers.
PROFESSOR GARFIELD
The purpose of the Professor Garfield is to provide free, user-friendly, and standards-based learning materials for the classroom teacher, parent, tutor, or mentor. These materials are intended to support and supplement the ongoing work of the classroom teacher by providing leveled materials (plans, activities, downloadables, and printables) that are retrievable by grade level, subject, and/or national standard.
PBS KIDS
PBS KIDS is the brand for children's programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the United States airing as a programming block since October 11, 1993.! PBS offers free online games, videos and variety of activities, like kids crafts and recipes for parents. It has free play over 10,000 games, fun activities, educational games, dora games, puzzle pbs games, pbs cooking games, cool math games and many more. It also consists of Links for parents, teachers and shop in the PBS online store.
DANCE MAT TYPING
Dance Mat typing is an introduction to touch typing. Touch typing is the fastest way to write. Many people can soon learn to touch type faster than they can write with a pen. The important things to remember are: Use the correct fingers. There's no need to rush! Always rest your wrists on the desk.You should take a rest, and shake your hands and arms to relax your muscles if you get tired. It's important not to look at your hands when you are learning to type. The best way to ensure that you don't look at your hands is to cover them up - you can make a simple box out of cardboard or wood to cover both the keys and your hands.
You will need headphones or speakers to enjoy the song and dance in each game. The games use the Flash plug-in - if your computer doesn't have Flash, you can find information on how to download it, or you can play the alternative interactive versions available at each stage.
Worksheets are available for each stage that can be printed out and used offline with a typewriter or computer.​

The website opened as a free public service in 2002 to inspire a love of learning through exploration in a safe, playful environment. It offers free online reading resources and low-cost, high-quality curriculum products. Members enjoy additional mathematics, song, and reading activities.

Boowa and Kwala is an online Educational games and activities program for toddlers and kindergarten kids. It is the only fun place to learn online in English/ French !
