TECHNOLOGY IS FUN

Kindergarten

I welcome you to the Computer Lab, and to a year full of learning and growing. problem solving skills

Using computers in kindergarten means lots of new skills to learn. Teaching young students how to think what makes sense when using a computer is extremely important in addition to using it to teach content like math or using skills in the computer lab.
There are a number of modules that the students will learn about during the school year.

During a weekly lab visits, the students will increase their computer literacy skills using NETS  Standards.  The students have opportunities to gain experience in getting familiar with the computer components and varied software programs by running educational programs which will enhance critical thinking and I also like to use kindergarten games to teach standards rather than just teaching keyboarding or computer skills. Yet, there is a lot that students need to learn in order to do it successfully and learn to do basic trouble-shooting.
Students use the lab as a learning tool to better prepare them for a successful future in today's technology based world.
