During the IT class, students created a poetry presentation on the PowerPoint. They typed different poems using a variety of styles and at the same time, they searched, copied and pasted the animated (GIF) images from the internet onto their slides. They were excited to see the GIF images and shared them with other students.

To make the presentation more interactive, we went outside to the playground and the students chose a spot to record their poems while making videos of each other using the iPads. They explored and learned many of the videoing techniques. Students inserted their videos. They also added their raps which were created and recorded in the music class with Ms. Jan and Ms. Melita.  They made beautiful cover pages for their presentations during the art class with Ms. Hart and Ms. Jensen. Finally, they added the transitions and music on their slides.
