View "Life Cycle of a Butterfly, a digital Book" created by KGC and KGD students on a Book Creator
During the IT class, students were introduced to an iPad application, Book Creator.
KG students created a digital book about “The Life Cycle of a Butterfly” on a Book Creator. This technology activity was integrated with the KG science lesson, “Life Cycle”.
After selecting an appropriate layout for their books they created a title page and a graphic organizer using the text and drawing tools. They also learned how to use an iPad camera to take pictures which they inserted on their books to create a graphic organizer.
Later they added details and illustrations about different stages of a butterfly on separate pages. They also drew and labelled a butterfly using the shape and text tools.
Finally, they narrated their stories along with a Butterfly song.
